I loved the book, but the movie was just ok...Meh... I loved the book, but the movie was just ok. It was really beautiful and well-done and it is a good story, it just moved really slowly I thought. (Maybe I would have liked it better if I hadn't read the book before and hadn't known everything that was going to happen.) My husband, on the other hand, said afterwards "Jeez, that was long... was it really only two hours? Seems like a lot longer."
